Wire harness manufacturers from all over the world gathered to discuss driving greater business success in the electronics industry at the recent inaugural IPC/WHMA European Wire Harness Manufacturing Conference. The two-day event, held in Paris, featured presentations by industry leaders, including ALTEX president and WHMA chairman Rick Bromm.
“We were thrilled by the turnout and by all of the great interaction and interest regarding the A-620 workmanship standard,” said Bromm. “The conference presented a platform to network with fellow experts and examine challenges and opportunities impacting the electronics industry on a global scale.”
With wire harness manufacturers on the front line of technical and quality challenges, IPC and WHMA organized the European conference to dive deeper into identifying and tackling such challenges. The conference also centered on the IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship standard, and included real-world examples of how businesses can utilize A-620 to overcome common obstacles and positively impact their bottom line.
“I can say that myself, and everyone from WHMA and IPC, are truly passionate about building a strong, supportive network within the electronics manufacturing industry,” said Bromm. “Based on the positive feedback we received at the conference, we’re excited to create more professional development opportunities that continue to push the industry forward.”
