ALTEX Wire and Cable is proud to announce Rick Bromm has been promoted to the position of president. Bromm is a 28-year veteran of ALTEX, a custom manufacturer of wire harness and cable assemblies. Headquartered in Westfield, Ind., ALTEX has a second plant in Nogales, Mexico and employs 63 operational, engineering and production workers.
Bromm previously held the position of vice president of Business Development. In addition, he serves as chairman of the Board of Directors for the Wiring Harness Manufacturer’s Association.
“I feel it’s very important for me to stay engaged with our employees, customers, suppliers and industry peers in order to best position ALTEX moving forward,” said Bromm. “I will continue to spend time in the field to help me make informed strategic decisions about the direction in which our company is headed.”
Bromm is in charge of ALTEX’s strategic direction and will take on a greater leadership role in overseeing personnel and budgetary planning, as well as shaping company culture.
