Indiana keeps popping up within the top ten on national surveys. The Hoosier state is ranked eighth for best states for doing business, graded on 40 data points across six main areas — business costs, labor supply, regulatory environment, economic climate, growth prospects and quality of life.
Indiana is sixth for top cities with technology based jobs. We also lead the U.S. in manufacturing job growth and continue to have the highest concentration of private sector manufacturing jobs in the nation, with 17% of employment in manufacturing.

With Indiana’s climate so ripe for business success, we are seeing more and more OEMs looking to source within our state.
Not only do we have a skilled workforce in ready supply, but our transportation infrastructure allows for easy logistics. There is highway access in every direction, along with rail and water access. Indiana also houses the second largest FedEx air hub and the world’s largest UPS air hub is just down the road in Louisville.
Overall the business environment within our state is highly positive. Pair that with a focus on quality and lean manufacturing and there is no better state to manufacturer within for many OEMs.
