The ALTEX Wire and Cable team is thrilled to be participating in the December 8, 2016 Sheridan Youth Assistance Career Fair at Sheridan High School. Our hands-on interactive trade show display with be featured so area youth can gain insights into what a career in advanced manufacturing looks like today.
The two-part event offers an opportunity for career exploration for those in grade 8-10 in the morning, and then the late afternoon offers a time for graduating seniors and adults members of the community to talk with local companies who are now hiring.
Organizers are expecting 500+ students from all over Hamilton County and Central Indiana to attend the first annual YAP career fair event. By holding the event in December, organizers hope career exploration insights will be fresh of mind for those signing up for January 2017 classes.
